“It’s my mission to help small business owners better understand their overall financial picture and how taxes fit into that picture.”
Aaron is a native of Tempe, Arizona and followed in his father’s footsteps, falling in love with accounting and the study of taxation. Graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphases on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (Class of 2001), he uses his education to help small business owners better understand their financial and tax picture.
Aaron is one of the youngest applicants to pass the Special Enrollment exam, administered by the U.S. Treasury Department, and received his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona. After having completed a three year course of study, he is also a Fellow of the prestigious National Tax Practice Institute.
In 2012, Aaron completed a three year appointment to the Government Relations Committee of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), providing feedback and analysis, which helps to shape NAEA’s responses to the IRS, Governmental Accountability Office, and Tax Inspector General for Tax Administration. He is also active in the Central Arizona Chapter of Enrolled Agents, currently serving as President. Aaron also volunteers in the community and is the current Treasurer of Hillel at ASU.
Aaron specializes in small business taxation and accounting services. He also represents taxpayers in compliance and collection matters before the IRS and state.
A proud fan of the Arizona State Sun Devils, Aaron returns every Homecoming to play mellophone with the Alumni Marching Band. He resides in Gilbert and enjoys spending time with his wife, son Eli Jacob and daughter Hanna Jane, trying new restaurants, golfing, traveling, and studying history.
