“It’s my mission to help small business owners better understand their overall financial picture and how taxes fit into that picture.”

Aaron is a native of Tempe, Arizona and followed in his father’s footsteps, falling in love with accounting and the study of taxation. Graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphases on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (Class of 2001), he uses his education to help small business owners better understand their financial and tax picture.

One of the youngest applicants to pass the Special Enrollment exam, administered by the U.S. Treasury Department, Aaron also earned his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona. In 2014, Aaron was invited to be an instructor for the prestigious National Tax Practice Institute, of which he is a Fellow.

Ilene Blau, Aaron’s mother, served for 20 years as the executive director of a local non-profit, and her work instilled a sense of community purpose and pride in Aaron.  As an active member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), Aaron has served his professional community by serving on local and national committees, and currently serves as chairperson of the local chapter.  Additionally, Aaron serves as the Board Chair of the East Valley Jewish Community Center, and has previously served as Treasurer for Hillel – Jewish Student Center at Arizona State University.

A proud fan of the Arizona State Sun Devils, Aaron volunteers his time to organize homecoming activities with the ASU Alumni Association Devil’s Horns Alumni Club, and has played mellophone with the Alumni band for eighteen straight years.

Aaron specializes in small business taxation and accounting services. He also represents taxpayers in compliance and collection matters before the IRS and state.

He resides in Gilbert and enjoys spending time with his wife, son Eli and daughter Hanna.
